Who writes our articles?
Our articles are written by the Priceline Pharmacy Pacific Fair team, using AI writing tools to help research and draft them. Each draft is checked against its sources, current Australian guidelines and the advertising rules for medicines, and the website’s automatic checks block words those rules don’t allow. Nothing is published until our pharmacist has reviewed it.
Who reviews them?
Every health article is reviewed by Jason Markey, BPharmSci, MPharm, a registered pharmacist (Ahpra registration PHA0001976405) and the owner of Priceline Pharmacy Pacific Fair. Each article shows who reviewed it and when.
Where does our information come from?
We use current Australian sources first, such as healthdirect, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the Australian Immunisation Handbook, Queensland Health and Services Australia. Each article lists its sources at the end, so you can read them yourself.
Which rules do we follow?
- We follow the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code. We don’t name prescription-only medicines, and we don’t claim that a product will cure anything.
- We don’t use testimonials or reviews in our health information.
- When we mention an over-the-counter medicine, we remind you to read the label and follow the directions for use.
- We don’t publish prices for medicines or vaccines, because they change. You’ll see the price in store or when you book.
- Help Medical is an independent general practice located inside our store. We mention it when seeing a GP is the right next step, alongside other options.
How do we keep articles up to date?
Each article shows the date it was published and the date it was last reviewed. When guidelines, government prices or vaccine eligibility change, we update the articles affected and review them again.
Found a mistake?
Please tell us. Email info@pricelinepf.com.au or ask at the counter, and we’ll check it with a pharmacist and correct it.
