We’ll help you make a realistic plan, track your weight, BMI and blood pressure at our in-store Health Station, and put you in touch with a local dietitian if you’d like. No booking is needed; just ask at the counter.

How does it work?
- A private chat. We talk through your goals, your health, your current medicines and anything that has made managing your weight harder in the past.
- A starting point. We record your weight, BMI and blood pressure at our in-store Health Station and email you the results.
- A realistic plan. We cover eating patterns, activity you can realistically keep up, sleep, and staying hydrated in the Gold Coast heat.
- Regular check-ins. Come back whenever it suits you to recheck your numbers, see your progress and adjust the plan.
- Extra support if you want it. We work with a local dietitian and can put you in touch, or refer you to your GP.
Can my medicines affect my weight?
Some can. Some medicines can increase your appetite or cause weight gain, and others need extra care if you change how much you eat. We can check your current medicines, explain what to watch for and talk to your doctor if something might need to change. Don’t stop a prescribed medicine without talking to your doctor first.
If you take several medicines, a medication review can check they’re working well together.
Who is this service for?
Anyone who wants support to lose weight or manage their weight, whether you’re just getting started, restarting after a break, or already under the care of a doctor or dietitian. We’ll work alongside your other health professionals, not replace them.

See your doctor if you have unexplained weight loss or gain, if you have a health condition such as diabetes or heart disease, or if you’re pregnant or planning a pregnancy. In an emergency, call 000.
